My Priorities
North West Wales deserves a powerful advocate in the Senedd. With extensive experience working closely with Welsh Ministers and MPs, I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges our region faces. My commitment to addressing these issues ensures that the voices of our communities are heard and represented. Together, we can drive meaningful change for North West Wales.

Mental Health
We are facing a mental health epidemic, and it’s clear: waiting lists don't work. People need the right support at the right time, not months or years down the line.
In a society where stress is at an all-time high - driven by financial pressures, uncertainty, and the everyday demands of modern life - we must be proactive.
I have consistently lobbied for early intervention and prevention, because stopping a problem while it’s just a niggle is always better than waiting for it to grow.
Sometimes, all someone needs is for someone to listen. That’s why I will fight for accessible services in our communities - ones that treat mental health with the urgency, compassion, and care it deserves.

Housing
Everyone deserves a safe, secure, and truly affordable place to call home. It should be a human right, rooted in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Yet in the wake of the pandemic and economic uncertainty, rents and mortgages have soared beyond reach for too many across North Wales.
I support the bold direction of the Welsh Government’s housing legislation, moving us toward a more compassionate, Nordic-style model - where housing policy wraps around the individual with support, not just bricks and mortar.
We need early intervention and prevention, not just crisis management. That means sustainable funding for support services and pragmatic action to boost supply at pace, especially in the wake of the economic crash.
With my vast experience within the sector and regional working I will continue to work tirelessly to make sure our communities have the homes they need - not just more housing, but better, fairer, and more secure homes for all.
This isn’t just a promise - it’s a plan I'm already implementing. And I’m ready to push for the changes needed at Welsh Government level.

Social Care and Health Care
From being at the heart of service delivery, I see it every day: the link between health and social care must be closer, smoother, and stronger. Right now, the disconnect between these two vital services is holding back the care people need—and putting avoidable pressure on our NHS.
A truly integrated approach is not just an ambition - it’s a necessity. Social care supports our NHS by helping more people stay independent, at home, and out of hospital for longer. That’s better for individuals, better for families, and more sustainable for the system as a whole.
We must move towards a seamless, person-centred model of care - where the focus isn’t on which department is responsible, but on what people need. That means shared planning, shared budgets, and shared accountability.
I will push for a joint health and social care service that works together from day one, not just at crisis point. One that prioritises dignity, prevention, and support at every stage of life.

Funding for North Wales
North Wales needs more than warm words - it needs a fresh new voice with the experience and determination to deliver real change.
The Local Government funding formula is outdated and unfair - it simply doesn’t reflect the unique needs and challenges of our communities. It’s time for an independent review to ensure North Wales gets its fair share.
This shortfall affects everything: our schools, our social services, and our core local services. Our people deserve better.
I will also push hard to realise the full potential of the North Wales Growth Deal - a vital opportunity to create good-quality, secure jobs and keep our young people here in North Wales, not losing them to bigger cities.
I’m proud of the Bangor Medical School and what it represents for the future of healthcare in our region. We must build on this momentum, investing in our children, our communities, and our economy so that everyone has the opportunity to thrive - right here, at home.
North Wales is full of talent, ambition, and pride. I’ll be the voice that makes sure it gets the investment and attention it deserves.
